THE ORIGIN OF DOODLISM
"Sharing the complete story of how a childhood
impulse evolved into a universal state of mind."
ABOUT MY ART
Doodlism is the art of staying in flow and accepting every line as part of the journey.

DOODLISM!
As a child, I was diagnosed with ADHD and hyperactivity.
While other children were trying to stay still, I was constantly moving.
That movement naturally turned into drawing.
I used to draw on notebooks, school papers, and empty spaces around me without thinking about it.
At the time, I didn’t see it as art.
It was simply instinct.
Years later, after graduating from graphic and art design school, I realized something important:
When I stopped trying to control the drawing, the drawing became alive.
I wasn’t planning compositions.
I wasn’t sketching ideas first.
I was simply letting movement flow onto paper.
People started asking:
“What does this mean?”
“Why does it feel alive?”
“Why do these drawings feel familiar?”
That question led me to define my own artistic movement.
Not because doodling was new —
but because nobody had clearly explained the philosophy behind it.
That philosophy became: DOODLISM

THE PHILOSOPHY
Doodlism is based on one simple idea:
Every human begins creating naturally. Every child draws before understanding rules. Before understanding good or bad.
Before fear. Before perfection.
Children create instinctively.
But as we grow older, the world teaches us: to control, to correct, to erase, to hide mistakes.
Doodlism rejects this fear. In Doodlism: there is no mistake, there is no eraser, there is only continuation.
Every line stays. Every line transforms into the next line. The drawing evolves exactly like life itself. Birth. Growth. Transformation.
Connection. Death. Renewal. Nothing disappears.
Everything becomes part of the whole.

MEDITATIVE DRAWING
For me, drawing is deeply meditative.
When lines begin connecting naturally, something strange happens:
The artwork starts feeling timeless —
as if it already existed before being drawn.
Like life itself.
Doodlism is not about perfection.
It is about presence.
The act of drawing becomes similar to meditation:
the mind slows down,
judgment disappears,
creativity expands naturally.
I believe returning to this creative flow helps people reconnect with their neutral childhood state — before fear and conditioning shaped them.

DOODLISM MANIFESTO
Doodlism is the art of staying in flow.
There are no mistakes.
There is no eraser.
Every line is permanent.
Every line transforms into the next.
Drawing is not planned.
It is experienced.
Doodlism is not a technique.
It is a mental state.
Process over perfection.
Transformation over correction.
Flow over control.
Doodlism: thinking without erasing the line.
People often ask me where Doodlism comes from.
To be honest, it is not an easy question to answer.
For many years, what I was doing had no clear meaning, theory, or explanation. I simply drew. It was an instinctive act. I wasn't trying to create a movement, follow a style, or communicate a philosophy. I was just following an impulse that had been with me since childhood.
When I began sharing my work online, people naturally wanted answers. They asked what it meant, where it came from, and why it looked the way it did. Everyone was searching for a story, a concept, or a reason behind the drawings.
The truth was that I didn't have one.
Yet I realized that if people were going to engage with my work, I needed a way to explain the journey behind it. Not to justify it, but to provide context. That realization led me to write a manifesto.
While writing it, I started with the word "doodle" — a term commonly associated with spontaneous sketches, scribbles, and unconscious drawing. Then I began thinking about the great artistic movements that had challenged traditional ideas of art. One of them was Dadaism.
Dadaism emerged as a reaction against logic, convention, and the search for meaning. At its core, it embraced absurdity, chance, and the rejection of established rules. In a different way, I felt a similar connection to that spirit. My drawings were not born from a calculated plan. They emerged from an urge, an instinct, and often from a place that could not be fully explained.
By combining the word "doodle" with the structure of historical art movements such as Dadaism, I created a new term:
Doodlism.
What began as a personal attempt to describe an inexplicable impulse gradually evolved into a concept, a philosophy, and eventually a framework through which I could understand my own work.

THE EVOLUTION
People often ask me where this journey began.
To be honest, for a long time, what I was doing had no clear name or set of rules. I simply drew. What started in my childhood as a raw impulse to cope with hyperactivity and ADHD eventually turned into an unstoppable drive to create.
As I began sharing my work online, people naturally became curious about the philosophy behind it. Looking at traditional art frameworks and rebellious movements like Dadaism, I gave a name to this instinctual act: Doodlism.
Spanning from spontaneous street murals in Istanbul to prime-time news features on German national television and large-scale canvases painted with hundreds of children, this movement grew far beyond personal sketches. It evolved into a pure philosophy of presence—where the lines control the mind, and where erasers and mistakes do not exist.
This evolution ultimately birthed the most mature, deeply layered stage of my artistic practice: the Doodlismus movement.
Doodlismus is a large-scale, philosophical movement built on letting go of absolute control, forgetting perfection, and fully surrendering to the process.
