My journey with drawing started much earlier than it appears. As a child, I drew on a TV show where my mother worked, but those recordings were lost to time. Thankfully, kept all my original drawings. After leaving my advertising job, I began creating artwork featuring Tony, which led to my display at the Four Seasons. This made me ponder my artistic motivations and influences, prompting me to revisit my mother's preserved drawings, where I discovered my first Doodle from 1996.

After earning my Fine Arts degree in Milan, I returned to Türkiye uncertain of my path. I began in digital marketing and graphic design at my family’s agency but sought more creativity. After brief roles at boutique agencies, I joined Rafineri as a Jr. Art Director, where I developed an award-winning campaign. Feeling unrecognized, I resigned and created "Tony," which symbolizes my artistic freedom and philosophy

After Tony, I colored aimlessly, sharing my emotional pieces with anyone who appreciated them. Their current whereabouts are unknown, but the joy of creation was invaluable.
DOODLE FOR COLLECTOR

After sharing my art and manifesto on Instagram, I gained interest, leading to my first collector commissioning a custom piece. This inspired me to create whimsical 70x100 cm artworks using 0.3 graphic pens, all drawn freehand and based on my manifesto and keywords from the collector.

Frustrated with traditional galleries I displayed my art on construction billboards along Bağdat Avenue and installed my first major public piece at Kadıköy waterfront during the pandemic. If galleries won't open, the streets become the gallery.

The tragic Turkish earthquake inspired a shift in my artistic style, sparked by an image of a lost teddy bear pulled from the rubble. This bear, placed at the center of my composition, symbolizes lost childhood and trauma. Today, this emotional masterpiece is officially registered on the Turkish digital art stock market, Artiox.

Teased as the "rich kid" at my agency, I created a Capitalism Series with Popeye, Richman, and a giant Mickey Mouse during the pandemic, a time when money felt irrelevant. In Kadıköy, Mickey stood with arms wide open as cash flew toward him, critiquing who truly profited from chaos. I started small with a Popeye drawing but escalated to a massive Mickey poster, highlighting the absurdity of wealth fear and hardship.

Combining Doodlism with 2D pop-art, I created Richman—incorporating Pikachu to show how wealth claims everything in pop culture. I then took a sculpture workshop, sculpted Richman in 3D clay on my second try, exhibited it at The Marmara Hotel Bodrum in October 2021, and sold it.

While hunting for vintage home decor in antique shops, I began buying forgotten old paintings and integrating my 2D Doodlism characters onto their classic canvases—turning a fun experiment into a whole series of upcycled antique interventions.

A beloved childhood hero, Popeye became a recurring symbol in my Capitalism Series. Following Richman, I brought his iconic form to life by crafting a 3D clay sculpture.

I met Prof. Dr. Melih Erdoğan in Antalya while seeking deeper art conversations. His encouragement to move beyond the cartoon realm inspired my Doodle Abstract era. Losing him this year has left a void, but his guidance always influence my art. I am forever grateful for his mentorship and the doors he opened for me.

My wife Fulya and I fulfilled a lifelong dream by co-authoring our children's book, Dali Dali. our first book, we collaborated with Martı Yayınları(Mesaj Alındı) on a doodle coloring book, which inspired us to publish our third book under our brand, Agula. Writing and illustrating has always been my passion, and creating imaginative worlds for children brings me immense joy.
