DOODLE CUBE

Pushing Doodlism into physical space, I crafted a Styrofoam planet covered in linework and levitated it mid-air using magnetic technology—a breakthrough experiment I later repeated with a floating Mario head.

A floating piece of the Doodlism Universe: Styrofoam cube suspended using magnetic levitation technology.

Floating Universe stands out as one of my most ambitious steps toward expanding Doodlism into physical and technological dimensions. I wanted my creations to break free from two-dimensional surfaces, so I conceptualized a floating cube—a tangible piece of a "Doodlism Universe," almost like a planet you could enter using a Meta VR headset.

To bring this vision to life, I carved a precise cube out of Styrofoam and completely wrapped every face in dense, continuous Doodlism linework. Then came the true breakthrough: using magnetic levitation technology, I suspended the sculpted planet mid-air, allowing it to float and spin seamlessly in space. Fusing mechanical technology with spontaneous art was an unforgettable experience. Never satisfied with stopping at a single test, I later applied the same magnetic levitation concept to a floating Mario head. For me, relentless trial, experimentation, and discovery remain the ultimate sources of inspiration.
