Around that time, my wife and I were frequently visiting antique shops to buy vintage items for our home. Every time I came across old, forgotten paintings in those dusty shops, I felt an irresistible urge to take them and paint over them.

What started as a playful experiment quickly turned into a major creative direction: I began acquiring these antique canvases and integrating my signature 2D Doodlism characters right into the foreground of classic landscapes and portraits. Breathing new, pop-art life into forgotten history, I ended up creating an extensive series of these upcycled antique interventions.
