It all started with a digital sneaker doodle experiment, followed by actual sneaker customisation projects for Boyner. But when a collector commissioned a 3D sculpture, a whole new concept clicked in my mind: fluid Doodlism forms completely wrapping around a physical sneaker.

I modeled the concept digitally, split the file into structural sections, 3D printed the pieces, assembled them, painted the surface, and finally applied my signature continuous line work. But why this specific sneaker silhouette? Because it represents a core piece of my daily identity. When I love a pair of shoes, I wear them relentlessly for years—in fact, I’ve probably owned ten pairs of this exact model, replacing each old pair with a fresh one as time goes on.

This piece tells the story of my artistic evolution: starting with 2D drawing, developing 3D sculpture skills, and then bridging those physical sculpture techniques back into the digital and 3D printing world. Plus, my figures evolved right alongside the medium—becoming even more spontaneous, unplanned, and fluid.
